Information we handle
The Site does not offer accounts, checkout or payment processing. When you visit, the hosting and delivery providers may record access information such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page and access time.
The Site uses browser local storage to remember preferences such as language and list density. If you contact us, we handle your email address and message only as needed to respond and resolve the request.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and maintain the Site, investigate abuse or technical problems, remember display preferences, respond to inquiries and improve content and usability. We do not use personal information for unrelated purposes unless required by law.
Affiliate links
The Site participates in Rakuten Affiliate, the Amazon Associates Program, A8.net, LinkShare and ValueCommerce. Linked services may handle cookies and access information under their own privacy policies. The Site does not receive your order details, payment information or delivery address.
Japanese shoe detail pages may load A8.net Link Manager to convert Xebio search links into affiliate links. This request occurs before you click a link.
Japanese shoe detail pages displaying Yahoo! Shopping affiliate links load an impression-tracking image from ValueCommerce. This request occurs before a link is clicked, and ValueCommerce may handle cookies and access information under its privacy policy.
Amazon link click counts
To improve links to retailers, we use Cloudflare to count Amazon link clicks. The analytics records contain only the destination market, display language, link type and placement, page type and event time. This measurement uses no cookies or visitor IDs and does not store search terms, product names, visited URLs, IP addresses or browser details in the analytics dataset.
Clicks are not counted when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled, or when the delivery provider identifies the region as within the EU or unknown. Retailer links still work if measurement fails. These counts are diagnostic figures, separate from Amazon's sales and attribution reports. Amazon receives only the Site's origin as the referrer, not the page path or search filters.
External sites and disclosure
The Site links to manufacturers, authorized retailers, news sources and marketplaces. Please review each destination's privacy policy. We do not disclose personal information we handle to third parties without consent except when required by law.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we handle. Contact information and operational records are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after they are no longer needed for support, maintenance or legal obligations.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted on this page and take effect when published.
