METASPEED EDGE

RacingReleased 2021-06-04Global

METASPEED EDGE is a race shoe for cadence-style runners who add speed through cadence and stride length. Versus METASPEED SKY, it uses less FF BLAST TURBO, an 8 mm offset, a gentler forefoot curve, and a full-length carbon plate to extend stride while keeping cadence controllable. A flared midsole steadies contact; a recycled-polyester engineered mesh upper and ASICSGRIP outsole complete the build.

Weight note
ASICS US and ASICS Australia official exact men's METASPEED EDGE product pages for style 1011B427 list 188g / 6.6oz. ASICS UK official men's page lists 184g / 6.5oz for a UK-region listing, so the US/AU 188g value is proposed for the existing men's base row while documenting the regional sample-weight conflict.
Plate note
ASICS corporate press release states the METASPEED series uses a lightweight carbon plate in the midsole.
