Nova 4

TrailReleased 2025Global

Nova 4 is a fourth-generation trail model for moderate routes, loose terrain and everyday obstacles, with a clean design intended to remain wearable beyond the trail. A lightweight FloatPro midsole works with FLEXconnect flex grooves to balance lasting comfort and ground connection. Engineered mesh with TPU adds breathable support, while Merrell Quantum Grip rubber and 4 mm lugs provide durable traction underfoot.

Weight note
9.2 oz / 261 g per shoe from the official Merrell US page.
Plate note
Merrell U.S.'s clearly bounded Nova & Antora 4 guide section lists the mesh upper, FloatPro, FLEXconnect, and Quantum Grip, and an exact authorized-retailer page corroborates that construction. Neither identifies a carbon structure, so it is classified as non-carbon under the complete-spec policy; this does not assert that every plate or reinforcing element is absent.
