MTN Racer 3 is a neutral trail shoe for technical racing, longer efforts, and hiking. Compared with its predecessor, it adds forefoot room and more cushioning, pairing an updated ZipFoam midsole with a responsive feel. Vibram Megagrip supports traction on wet, rocky terrain, while the gaiter-compatible upper, roomy toe box, and secure midfoot and heel help maintain confident footing on uneven trails.

Plate note
The complete exact men's Bonico page describes ZipFoam, Vibram Megagrip, the upper and insoles. Fleet Feet's exact construction description corroborates it without identifying carbon, retaining the existing non-carbon classification without relying on the retired JP PDP. Presence or absence of another non-carbon plate is not asserted.
