Ultraventure 3 adds cushioning for long runs and hikes on mild to moderate trails. A higher platform and updated ZipFoam increase protection and comfort over its predecessor. Revised Vibram XS Trek EVO rubber placement balances durability with lower weight and flexibility. A refreshed recycled engineered-mesh upper pairs a roomy toe box with a secure midfoot and heel fit.

The exact JP manufacturer-distributor men's page states 289 g at 27.0 cm/M9, corroborating the previously verified JP value. Fleet Feet lists 10.2 oz at M9; no conversion is used. The prior Italian 278 g at M9 remains a regional discrepancy, not a replacement.

The exact official JP product page provides a complete construction description covering the ZipFoam midsole, Vibram XS Trek EVO outsole, recycled engineered-mesh upper, and core specifications, with no carbon structure stated. Carbon plate is therefore classified as false from complete official specifications; the presence or absence of any non-carbon plate is not asserted.
