SONICBLAST 2
SONICBLAST 2 is an energetic speed trainer for tempo runs and daily training. Its dual-layer midsole combines FF TURBO SQUARED with FF BLAST MAX, while a redesigned forked ASTROPLATE lets the faster foam extend into the forefoot trampoline pod for stronger propulsion. A new engineered mesh upper improves breathability and comfort, and the men's US size 9 build is about 14g lighter than its predecessor.

Weight measurement and plate details
- Weight note
- ASICS Global states that men's US size 9 is approximately 14g lighter than the predecessor, but it does not provide an absolute weight, so the numeric field remains unresolved.
- Plate note
- ASICS identifies a redesigned forked ASTROPLATE but does not state its exact material, so carbon status remains unresolved.
