WAVE RIDER 27 SSW

Daily TrainerAnnouncement date 2023-08-18BR

WAVE RIDER 27 SSW pairs the Rider's cushioned daily-running sole with a Smooth Stretch Woven upper instead of standard mesh. The weave stretches across the foot while resisting lengthwise movement, with ventilation holes over the instep. A revised heel counter refines hold, while MIZUNO ENERZY, a Pebax Rnew Wave plate and X10 rubber suit everyday mileage and marathon training.

Weight note
Approximate men's-model weight at 27.0cm, one shoe, from Mizuno Japan's exact J1GC2375 page.
Plate note
The exact Japan page identifies a plant-derived Pebax Rnew Wave plate. Arkema identifies Pebax Rnew as a PEBA elastomer; this is classified as a non-carbon polymer plate, not a plate-free shoe.
